Tutors stay with the families of the children who participate in the courses. These families are carefully selected to make sure your stay in Italy is truly unforgettable! Lots of exciting outgoings are organized and you will never go hungry!
All expenses are covered by your host family and you will be paid at the end of each two-week course.
Courses run from the 8th of June until the 17th of July 2026.
Some experience of working with children is required.
This is an ideal opportunity if you are studying to become a teacher. You must be over 18 and your native language should be English.

Hi, I'm Suzanne, founder of LIVE ENGLISH.
I started teaching English after moving to Italy from Australia in 2005. After working with various colleges in Italy and overseas, I decided to do my own thing and in 2014 I set up my own business.
I believe that English is a language that should be lived, hence the name Live English.
I organize summer courses and each summer tutors come to spend some time in this wonderful part of the world to work with me.
They stay with the families whose children attend the courses and create amazing bonds that last a lifetime with these families, as well as with the children who attend the courses.
I am also a primary school teacher at Maestre Pie in Rimini who offer a bilingual programme. I feel very lucky to have this opportunity to make a difference in young people’s lives.
Learning a language is much more than just getting the grammar right. The cultural exchanges and the enjoyment of learning are so important.
My hope is that students here and tutors from overseas have an incredible experience at my courses and it opens their minds to the endless possibilities in this magnificent world!
Summer Courses
Our summer courses offer the opportunity for Italian children to get to know mother tongue Tutors and practise their English.
They are designed for Italian children with immersive English experiences through role plays, games, and conversations.
Our tutors guide meaningful interactions that enhance language skills while having fun.
There is a strong focus on putting English into practise with a Final Show at the end of the course where students perform a role play that they have prepared with their tutor.
